MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Penalties in Wisconsin for reckless driving and carjacking would increase under Republican-backed bills approved by the Legislature yesterday. The proposal now goes to Gov. Tony Evers. Also, the Assembly passed a bill that would increase fines and forfeitures for reckless driving and subsequent offenses. That bill now goes to the Senate.
