Bessemer man dies in Highway 51 accident.

HURLEY – On Friday the Hurley Police Department released more information regarding a fatal accident on Highway 51 just south of Hurley that shut down the highway for much of the afternoon last Wednesday. According to Hurley police the accident involved a semi-truck and a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was identified at 76-year-old Jerry Busch of Bessemer he was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi was treated for minor injuries. The accident investigation continues.
