U.P. Blood shortage now considered CRITICAL

IRONWOOD – Upper Peninsula Experiencing Critical Shortage of Blood. The U.P. Regional Blood Center is asking everyone who can to donate blood. The upper peninsula is experiencing a critical shortage of all blood types. The U.P. Regional Blood Center serves 13 Upper Peninsula hospitals, including Aspirus Ironwood Hospital and Clinics and Aspirus Ontonagon. The center has collection sites in Marquette, Hancock and Escanaba.
