Red Cliff and Bayfield residents will soon start to see better cell coverage

BAYFIELD, WI — Residents near Red Cliff and Bayfield will soon start to see better cell coverage. That’s because AT&T is putting up a new cell tower as part of its Firstnet network. Talks for the tower have been in the works for several years. Yesterday was the official ground breaking for the project. The tower will be built on tribal land north of Legendary Waters Casino just off highway 13. The tower should be in service by mid-fall.
