WAKEFIELD – The Michigan State Police Wakefield Post 86 has three new troopers joining its ranks.  Stefin Robinson, Paul Maxinoski and Evan Fezatt recently completed and graduated from the 28 weeks of MSP’s training academy in downstate Michigan.  F/Lt. Donald Horn, commander of the Wakefield Post, says the Wakefield Post has been understaffed for several years, and the 3 new recruits is a big blessing.  All three new troopers have roots to the region.  Maxinoski, is originally from Montreal, Wis, Fezatt is from  Negaunee, Robinson Grew up in Gladstone.  A little more than 1,100 applicants applied for recruit school and 136 were selected to participate with their class. From the 136, 111 completed the academy and have the opportunity to become MSP troopers.
