Yesterday just before 9pm the Iron County Sheriffs dispatch center received a call of a vehicle through the ice on Trude Lake in Mercer. The caller reported two subjects that were in the vehicle had exited the vehicle and walked to a nearby business for assistance. The Iron County Sheriff department and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources were dispatched to the scene. No injuries reported. This is the second vehicle to go through the ice in the Mercer area over the last week.
