Wanted fugitive originally from Hurley recaptured in Marquette.

MARQUETTE – The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office reached out to the public yesterday in locating a wanted fugitive. On April 5, 19-year-old Chenoa Rae Phillips, was taken into custody and lodged at the Marquette County Jail on a possession of methamphetamine charge. On April 7, Phillips was released from jail on a personal recognizance bond, ordered to wear a GPS monitoring device and immediately report to drug treatment. Phillips removed her GPS monitoring device later the same day and failed to report to treatment as ordered by the court. Phillips was taken back into custody around 2:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon. Phillips is originally from Hurley.
