Ironwood working to resolve hazard and a nuisance in Newport Heights location.

IRONWOOD – Ironwood Declares Property Public Hazard and Nuisance. The Ironwood City Commission adopted a resolution declaring that a public hazard and nuisance exists at 39 Newport Heights S, stating that if cleanup of the property hasn’t occurred by May 5th the blight will be removed and abated. Years of concern about yard debris blowing into neighboring years and dogs that present a safety concern prompted three notices regarding the situation Confirmation of a violation of the blight ordinance and research regarding the limit on dogs allowable on a private property will be researched to be sure the city’s possible abatement action is completely legal and justified.
