Wakefield Marenisco schools closed this week

WAKEFIELD (AP) — Many Michigan schools are shutting down for the entire week of Thanksgiving, giving staff and families an opportunity to recover from illness, including COVID-19. In the Wakefield Marenisco School District Due to a sharp increase in student illness and absences, classes are cancelled for November today, tomorrow and Wednesday. This includes the G.S.R.P classroom. Classes in Wakefield Marenisco will resume on Monday, November 29th. The state of Michigan continues to post the worst new case rate in the U.S.
