GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health reporting 1572 COVID cases in Gogebic County an increase of 29 cases since Friday. Ontonagon County with 602 cases an increase of 3 since Friday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 751 cases in Iron County no change since Friday. Health officials in Michigan report 23,232 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Thursday and Friday, with 128 new reported deaths. Over 70.2% of residents 16 and older have received at least one dose of vaccine. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 3,448 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, with 13 new deaths. 55.5% of eligible residents have completed the vaccination series.
