ASHLAND – More area school districts change to all distance learning because of COVID-19 cases. After a student and staff member at Ashland High School tested positive the district moved to virtual-only classes with a tentative date to resume in-person classes of Oct. 8. The Drummond School District made the same move for the next two weeks as the Bayfield County Health Department investigates the early stages of an outbreak. School District of Mellen officials reports all 9th grade students and 6th grade students in group B will need to quarantine for 14 days
