New Housing Preservation Grant to Help Residents in Northern Wisconsin and the UP

ASHLAND – New Housing Preservation Grant Will Help Residents in Ashland, Bayfield County. For the first time, Bayfield and Ashland residents can take advantage of a grant that will help them make any number of types of repairs or improvements to their homes. A $75,000 Housing Preservation Grant from the U.S.D.A. will be administered by the Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity will be given to low or very low-income homeowners living in the Bay Area as well as six other counties in the U.P. Funding is available on a first come, first served basis until it is exhausted. Applications are available at wildrivershabitat.org.
