M-28 in Wakefield remains closed

WAKEFIELD – The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) said Wednesday that M-28 east of Wakefield will remain closed. A detour to M-64 is set for the time. In order to prevent more flooding in Wakefield, crews continue to pump Sunday Lake. According to MDOT, while the water is receding, the closure and detour may be in place through Friday.
