Local and Regional COVID numbers

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 1043 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County no increase since last week Monday.  Ontonagon County with 421 no increase since last Wednesday. In Gogebic County 50 percent of residents are fully vaccinated.  Ontonagon County 54.5 percent have completed the vaccination series. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 584 cases in Iron County no change since Wednesday.  Health officials in Michigan report 327 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 35 deaths since Friday.  According to the MDHHS, there have been a total of 8,872,515 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Michigan.  The statewide case fatality rate is 2.2%.   Nearly 56% of Michiganders have received at least one dose of vaccine.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 23 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, with no new deaths.  According to WDHS, there have been a total of 5,457,746 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Wisconsin.  45.3% of Wisconsinites have completed the vaccine series.
