Lake Road closes today through Thursday

IRONWOOD – The Road Closure of a section of Lake Road starts today. The Gogebic County Road Commission (GCRC) reports that LAKE ROAD, Ironwood Township, will be CLOSED to traffic beginning 7:00 a.m. today through 3:00 p.m. Thursday. The closure is located between the Wisconsin border and lower Powers Road. The GCRC will remove and replace multiple culverts. Little Girl’s Point County Park campground and beach can be accessed from the east by the use of Lake Road. For more info contact the Gogebic County Road Commission at (906) 667-0233.
