Denver Air stays at the Gogebic Iron County Airport

IRONWOOD – Denver Air Will Continue as the Areas Essential Air Service Provider. At a special meeting of the Gogebic-Iron County Airport Board earlier in the week, the board voted unanimously to continue to have Denver Air act as the area’s Essential Air Service for the region. A motion to approve the airline was put forward by board member Jim Lorensen, citing the airline’s record of timeliness, completion of flights, customer service, growing passenger rates and a successful relationship with the TSA and airport administration. Lorenson also pointed out that they are a substantially sized airline and have made every effort to improve airport services and operations.
