Cadotte Resigns as Ashland County Jail Administrator

ASHLAND – Cadotte Resigns as Ashland County Jail Administrator. More changes for the Ashland County Jail. The Ashland Daily Press reports recently hired Jail Administrator Kyle Cadotte has resigned after being involved in a single vehicle crash in Bell where it is suspected alcohol may have been involved. He was issued citations for inattentive driving and speeding. Cadotte had been at work for a week after the April 16th accident and was then put on paid administrative leave. He submitted his resignation on April 25th but did not give a reason why. Cadotte had been an Ashland County detective when he was appointed to the Jail Administration position after Kim Lavasseur was fired, despite having no experience in the position. Lavasseur contends Cadotte was hired because he is a relative of Sheriff Brian Zupke.
