IRONWOOD – The latest winter storm dropping around 15 inches of snow in Ironwood Friday and Saturday. No major problems in the Western U.P. from this latest winter storm. The most recent snow putting Ironwood just short of the 200-inch mark for the season. At the WUPM / WHRY Broadcast center a season total so far is at 199.3 inches. However, 1 to 3 inches of snow is in the forecast for tomorrow night into Wednesday making a 200-inch year a near certainty. The last time we saw snow reach more than 200 inches was in the winter of 2012 into 2013.
