Vilas County Board of Supervisor race for April set

EAGLE RIVER – Field of Candidates Set in Vilas County Board of Supervisor Election. There are four incumbents not entering race in the upcoming election of Vilas county supervisors in April. County Board Chairman Ron DeBruyne, who’s been on the board since 1994 and chairman since 2014 will not seek office again. Jay Verhulst has also filed non candidacy papers. Charles Hayes resigned from the board as of the end of December and Marshall Reckard declared but didn’t file his nomination papers. Because the field of candidates is set, there will not be a primary election, only the general.
