IRONWOOD - Work continues on removing the roof and walls of the Pat O’Donnell Civic Center yesterday, to make way for a temporary dome over the ice rink facility by late October. The city of Ironwood’s insurance will replace the building that was damaged by heavy snow in March, the dome will allow the facility to be used for the 2019-2020 winter season activities until work on a new building starts next year. If the new building will be built at the same site is yet to be determined.
