HURLEY – It’s now summer break at Hurley High School and when students come back in the fall besides the change in the mascot and team names the foot print of the building itself will be different. Angelo Luppino’s construction with recent good weather has already started erecting the outside for the Hurley K-12 School’s Northwoods Manufacturing expansion project and work on the roof deck is expected to take place within a week. Hurley district administrator Keven Genisot, says the plan is to have the project completed before classes start. So far the $1.2 million addition is on schedule. The addition will expand the metal and woodworking shop by approximately 6,500 square feet, roughly doubling its existing size.
