Gas Prices are up to start the week.

DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) — AAA Michigan says average gas prices statewide are up about 14 cents from a week ago to about $2.29 per gallon. The Dearborn-based auto club says Monday the average price for self-serve regular unleaded is about 28 cents less than a year ago. The state’s highest average was about $2.35 a gallon in the Traverse City area. Local prices have been in flux from $2.19 a gallon to $2.29 a gallon over the past week.
