Winter Parking Bans in effect.

IRONWOOD – Now that we are seeing snow and ice on the Gogebic Range the City of Ironwood reminds residents that Parking bans went into effect as of November 1st.  That means there is No Parking on City streets from 2AM to 7AM so Public Works crew can open up streets for safe travel.  Vehicles left on the street after 2AM are subject to a parking fine and towing charges.  Ironwood public safety also asking residents to consider adopting a fire hydrant in your neighborhood. Keeping hydrants cleared of snow could save someone’s life.
