Water projects continue in Ironwood.

IRONWOOD – Work Continues on VanBuskirk and West Pewabic. The Ironwood utilities department began the removal of the blacktop on VanBuskirk Road between Pioneer Road and Normandy Avenue last week in order to replace about 800 feet of water main under the road. The city is also replacing the water main and sewer lines on West Pewabic Street. The replacements at West Pewabic and Vanbuskirk should be completed by July 1. Residents in these areas will experience periodic water service disruptions and discoloration during the replacements.
