WAKEFIELD – The water boil advisory for the city of Wakefield has been lifted. The city submitted four consecutive water tests, twenty-four hours apart, with no traces of E. Coli. In the coming months, the city says it will continue to work with consultants, engineers, and state agencies to identify well-head improvements to mitigate future disruption of municipal water supply. The water boil advisory has also been lifted for Wakefield Township, Bessemer Township and Ironwood Township.
