Trail 2 reroutes now permanent.

RAMSAY – The Trail 2, snowmobile reroute which spans across Bessemer and Wakefield, is now permanent.  The new section of trail was proposed after the new owners of Big Snow Resort now Snow River Resort closed the section of trail 2 that runs through its property, citing safety concerns.  The Gogebic Range Trail Authority says plans are in the works to do work on that section of trail to make it better and safer in the coming years.  The Trail Authority needs volunteers to keep trails groomed and maintained.  If you are interested in helping visit the Gogebic Trail Authority website or Facebook page for more information.
