IRONWOOD – Ironwood voters will be doing more than just choosing a President on Nov. 3. They will also be deciding on renewing the Ironwood School District’s operating millage. Superintendent Travis Powell says the rate of 18 mills is the same as in the past. According to the Daily Globe the millage provides nearly a quarter of the district’s funding and if the measure doesn’t pass the state will not make up the lost revenue. If passed the measure would be in effect until 2024.
