Plans underway for Bessemer Kwik Trip

BESSEMER – The City of Bessemer releasing plans for the new Kwik Trip for Bessemer. According to a Facebook post by the City of Bessemer, Kwik Trip wants to add a location at 117 E. Lead Street/US-2, the current site of Stempihar’s Gas Station. The gas station and parking area will take up the location between south Moore Street and Sophie Street in Bessemer. Last month, the City of Ironwood and Kwik Trip announced plans for its first U.P. location at 220 and 260 Cloverland Drive/US-2 in Ironwood, between Cloverland Motors and Comfort Inn in the area where the Davies Motel currently stands. Kwik Trip already has operating locations in Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin these stores will be the first in Michigan.
