BESSEMER – The State of Michigan is distributing the life saving drug Narcan at no cost in Gogebic County. Narcan is used to reverse opioid overdoses and is used by first responders and law enforcement agencies. Public distribution takes place Aug. 31 at the Lac Vieux Desert Health Center in Watersmeet and at Aspirus Ironwood between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. No prescription is needed and ID is not required. Limit one per person. The events are co-sponsored by Gogebic County Communities That Care.
