More messy weather possible coming

IRONWOOD – More possibly messy weather expected this week.  A wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain from the storm will overspread the area Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. The mix will gradually transition to rain from south to north late Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, with primarily rain anticipated Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday evening. The precipitation will change back to a wintry mix and then to snow Wednesday night and Thursday morning as colder air wraps into the area. Up to around two tenths of ice accretion is possible.  Hazardous travel conditions will be possible at times as a complex storm system crosses the area during midweek.
