MONTREAL — The city of Montreal now has hired a replacement for city clerk Sue Lesky when she retires this spring. The Montreal Common Council voted to offer the job to office assistant Lori Genisot. In December, Lesky announced she was planning to retire in April and was notifying the council then so there was time to select and train a replacement. The city is expecting to hire someone to fill the water and sewer position that Genisot currently occupies.
