GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 1038 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County no change since yesterday. Ontonagon County with 415 an increase no change yesterday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 581 cases in Iron County an increase of 1 since yesterday. Health officials in Michigan report 542 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, with 59 deaths. According to the MDHHS, there have been a total of 8,238,472 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Michigan. The statewide case fatality rate is 2.2%. Over 45% of Michiganders have completed their vaccination series. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 285 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, with two new deaths. According to WDHS, there have been a total of 5,111,247 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Wisconsin. 41.5% of Wisconsinites have completed the vaccine series.
