Local and Regional COVID numbers.

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health reporting 1289 COVID 19 cases in Gogebic County an increase of 21 cases since yesterday.  Ontonagon County with 513 cases an increase of 4 cases since yesterday.  The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 687 cases in Iron County an increase of 2 since yesterday.  Health officials in Michigan report 7,674 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday and Wednesday, with 92 newly reported deaths.  68.3% of Michigan residents age 16 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of October 5.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 2,911 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, with 10 new deaths.  56.9% of the total population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of October 6. 54% of eligible residents have completed the vaccination series.
