GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health reporting 1160 COVID 19 cases in Gogebic County. That number is an increase of 4 cases. Ontonagon County with 464 cases that’s an increase of 3 cases since yesterday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 616 cases in Iron County no increase since yesterday. Health officials in Michigan report 4,494 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Monday and Tuesday, with 59 newly-reported deaths. 65.9% of Michigan residents age 16 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of September 1. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 1,968 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, with nine new deaths. 65.7% of Wisconsin adults have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of September 1, or 54.8% of the total population. 62.1% of Wisconsin adults have completed the vaccination series.
