Local and regional COVID numbers

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health reporting 1139 COVID 19 cases in Gogebic County.  That number unchanged after an increase of 17 cases the day before.  Ontonagon County with 438 cases that number unchanged since yesterday.  The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 609 cases in Iron County unchanged since Wednesday.  Health officials in Michigan report 2,690 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, with 46 deaths.  64.8% of Michigan residents have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of August 17.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 1,569 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, with three new deaths.  53.6% of Wisconsin residents have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of August 18. 50.4% have completed the series.
