Local and Regional COVID numbers.

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 902 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County unchanged since yesterday.  Ontonagon County with 354 cases no change since yesterday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 516 cases in Iron County an increase of 1 since yesterday.  Health officials in Michigan report 1,265 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 over Sunday and Monday. Over the two days, Michigan averaged 632 new cases per day.  According to the MDHHS, there have been a total of just under 1,52 million COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Michigan.  The statewide case fatality rate is 2.6%.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 405 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, with four new deaths.  According to WDHS, there have been a total of 976,049 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Wisconsin.  Wisconsin is continuing to consistently report under 1,000 daily COVID-19 cases.  In fact, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services report of 405 new cases Monday is the lowest yet of 2021.
