Local and Regional COVID Numbers.

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health reporting 1630 COVID cases in Gogebic County an increase of 32 increase in cases since Wednesday.  Ontonagon County with 609 cases an increase 6 since Wednesday.  The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 769 cases in Iron County an increase of 12 since Wednesday. Health officials in Michigan report 17,003 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday and Wednesday, with 280 new reported deaths.  70.9% of residents 16 and older have received at least one dose of vaccine.  60.7% of Michigan residents age 5 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of November 24.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 3,589 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, with 29 new deaths.  58.8% of the total population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of November 24. 55.9% of eligible residents have completed the vaccination series.
