GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health reporting 1139 COVID 19 cases in Gogebic County. That number unchanged over the weekend. Ontonagon County with 448 cases that number an increase of 10 since Friday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 611 cases in Iron County an increase of 2 over the weekend. Health officials in Michigan report 4,197 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Thursday and Friday, with 37 newly-reported deaths. 64.8% of Michigan residents have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of August 17. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 1,603 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, with 11 new deaths. 53.7% of Wisconsin residents have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of August 20. 50.5% have completed the series.
