Local and Regional COVID cases

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 1038 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 1 since yesterday.  Ontonagon County with 415 an increase no change yesterday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 580 cases in Iron County no change since Wednesday.  Health officials in Michigan report 799 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, with 12 deaths.  According to the MDHHS, there have been a total of 8,197,340 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Michigan.   Over 45% of Michiganders have completed their vaccination series.  The statewide case fatality rate is 2.1%.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 330 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, with five new deaths. According to WDHS, there have been a total of 5,087,871 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Wisconsin.  41.3% of Wisconsinites have completed the vaccine series.
