Local and regional COVID-19 numbers.

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 856 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 7 since yesterday.  Ontonagon County with 335 cases an increase of 4 since yesterday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 476 cases in Iron County unchanged since yesterday.  Health officials in Michigan report 2,066 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Sunday and Monday. Over the two days, the average number of confirmed cases is 1,033. The total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 across the state is 561,307. There were eight deaths reported.  According to the MDHHS, there have been a total of just over 1 million COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Michigan.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 750 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, with 1 new death. DHS says 3,820 people were tested in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases across the state since the pandemic began is 543,165 with 96% of the cases now recovered. There are 18,278 active cases as of Monday.  According to WDHS, there have been a total of 551,963 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Wisconsin.
