GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 788 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 1 since yesterday. Ontonagon County with 292 cases this morning an increase of 1 since yesterday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 448 cases in Iron County an increase of 3 since yesterday. Health officials in Michigan report 1,738 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. The total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 across the state is 540,115. There were 41 new deaths reported. According to the MDHHS, there have been a total of 487,959 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Michigan. The statewide case fatality rate is 2.6%. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 1,525 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, with 42 new deaths. DHS says 5,081 people were tested in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases across the state since the pandemic began is 524,402, with 94% of the cases now recovered. According to WDHS, there have been a total of 248,185 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Wisconsin. WDHS shows 779,800 vaccines have been allocated, with 473,300 ordered.
