Local and Regional COVID-19 Numbers

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reporting 653 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County as of this morning an increase of 26 since Monday. Ontonagon County with 269 cases no change since yesterday. While the Wisconsin Department of Health reports 381 cases also unchanged since yesterday. As of last night, there have been a total of 13,064 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Upper Peninsula during this outbreak. Of those, at least 7,002 are considered recovered and 291 have resulted in death. The seven-day average for positive tests in the U.P. sits at 8.7%. Upper Michigan added143 new coronavirus cases Wednesday.
