GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reporting 620 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 5 over the weekend. Ontonagon County with 264 cases an increase of 3 since Friday. While the Wisconsin Department of Health reports 371 cases an increase of 7 cases since Friday. As of Saturday night, there have been a total of 12,675 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Upper Peninsula during this outbreak. Of those, at least 6,748 are considered recovered and 277 have resulted in death. The seven-day average for positive tests in the U.P. sits at 8.2%. Wisconsin has crossed the 400,000 mark in recorded COVID-19 cases, adding nearly 4,900 positives in one day and 63 additional deaths.
