Local and Regional COVID-19 numbers.

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reporting 545 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 11 since yesterday.  Ontonagon County with 245 cases an increase of 3 since yesterday. While the Wisconsin Department of Health reports 336 cases in Iron County an increase of 10 since yesterday numbers. Upper Michigan added 148 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, while the state reported 6,290 new cases.  As of last night, there have been a total of 11,092 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Upper Peninsula during this outbreak. Of those, at least 5,724 are considered recovered and 215 have resulted in death.  The seven-day average for positive tests in the U.P. sits at 16.4%.  Aspirus Ironwood: 7 patients with 2 in ICU, 44% bed occupancy.  Out of the 195,339 diagnostic test results reported to the state from Upper Michigan for the entire coronavirus pandemic, 5.42% percent have come back positive for COVID-19 as of yesterday.  The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reports 6,290 daily cases and 145 deaths Tuesday due to the virus. Wisconsin has set another record for coronavirus deaths. The state Department of Health Services reported Tuesday that the virus was a factor in another 104 deaths. That breaks the old record of 92 daily deaths set on Nov. 17.
