GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reporting 497 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 3 since yesterday. Ontonagon County with 225 cases and increase of 2 since yesterday. While the Wisconsin Department of Health reports 310 cases in Iron County an increase of 5 since yesterday. As of last night, there have been a total of 10,033 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Upper Peninsula during this outbreak. Of those, at least 4,442 are considered recovered and 188 have resulted in death. The seven-day average for positive tests in the U.P. sits at 12.3%. The cumulative rate of positive diagnostic tests for Upper Michigan is 5.10% as of Nov. 18.
