Local and Regional COVID-19 numbers.

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reporting 481 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 13 since yesterday. Ontonagon County with 221 cases and increase of 10 since Saturday. While the Wisconsin Department of Health reports 299 cases in Iron County no increase since yesterday. As of last night, there have been a total of 9,584 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Upper Peninsula during this outbreak. Of those, at least 4,268 are considered recovered and 184 have resulted in death. The seven-day average for positive tests in the U.P. sits at 12.1%. COVID-19 hospitalizations, out of the 10 U.P. hospitals and health systems reporting, show 90 COVID-19 patients in Upper Michigan as of Monday, Nov. 16. Of those, 26 are in the intensive care unit (ICU). Aspirus Ironwood has 6 patients with 5 in ICU, and right now has a 41% bed occupancy. Aspirus Ontonagon has no COVID patients at this time and has a 30% bed occupancy.
