Local and Regional COVID-19 numbers

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reporting 348 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County no increase since yesterday. Ontonagon County with 114 also no increase since yesterday. While the Wisconsin Department of Health reports 232 cases in Iron County an increase of 8 since yesterday. As of last night there have been a total of 6,832 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Upper Peninsula during this outbreak. Of those, at least 3,167 are considered recovered and 139 have resulted in death. The seven-day average for positive tests in the U.P. sits at 8.3%. Upper Michigan added 305 coronavirus cases and 5 new deaths Wednesday.
