Local and Regional COVID-19 numbers

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 1043 cases of COVID19 no increase since yesterday.  Ontonagon County with 421 no increase since last Wednesday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 583 cases in Iron County no increase since Friday. Health officials in Michigan report 338 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Monday, with eight deaths.  According to the MDHHS, there have been a total of 8,707,421 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Michigan.  The statewide case fatality rate is 2.2%.  60% of Michiganders over 16 years of age, have received at least one dose of vaccine.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 42 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, with no new deaths.  According to WDHS, there have been a total of 5,366,251 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Wisconsin.  49.1% of Wisconsin residents have received at least one dose of vaccine, 44.2% of Wisconsinites have completed the vaccine series.
