GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 1039 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 1 since Friday. Updated numbers set to be released today. Ontonagon County with 417 an increase of 2 since Friday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 581 cases in Iron County no change over the weekend. Health officials in Michigan report 445 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, with 49 deaths. According to the MDHHS, there have been a total of 8,275,685 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Michigan. The statewide case fatality rate is 2.2%. Over 46% of Michiganders have completed their vaccination series. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 82 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, with no new deaths. According to WDHS, there have been a total of 5,163,783 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Wisconsin. 42.0% of Wisconsinites have completed the vaccine series.
