Local and Regional COVID-19 Numbers

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 1018 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County no increase since yesterday.  Ontonagon County with 401 an increase of 1 since yesterday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 578 cases in Iron County an increase of 1 since yesterday.  Health officials in Michigan report 1,992 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 over Tuesday, with 99 deaths.  According to the MDHHS, there have been a total of 7,489,457 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Michigan.  The statewide case fatality rate is 2.1%.  Over 43% of Michiganders have completed their vaccination series. 55% of Michigan residents have received at least one dose of vaccine, The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 517 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, with 13 new deaths.  According to WDHS, there have been a total of 4,724,130 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Wisconsin.  44.5% of Wisconsin residents have received at least one dose of vaccine, 37.6% of Wisconsinites have completed the vaccine series.
